Before I formatted, I could record vocals fine just through my laptop, I don't understand what's changed with it. The mic I've got isn't phantom powered, I made sure to get one that wasn't. But it is 2 or 3 years old now, so I might be 'forced' to get a new one haha. So you think I'm better off...
