Quick question on monitors...
Well would you guys recommend Pro Tools? Compared to Reason, what's it like? If it's better than Reason and worth the money then I'll cop the Mbox Mini with Pro Tools. -

Thanks for the reply. Nope, don't know how to save it to a default template either haha. Another thing, is there a way to get rid of that fucking demo song that loads up EVERY single time I load up Reason? I'll look around for 4.01. -

So I've set up the basic remote override settings on a few buttons, using the MPK to control the Record, Play, Stop, Rewind, Fast Forward, Tempo, Click and Precount. Only problem is, when I open up a new project then the override settings are gone. Anybody know if there's a way to save these... -

Do I need an audio interface to use the monitors with my laptop or will they just plug in to the headphone socket like my... -

Could it be something to do with your Midi Clock settings on the MPK? Go to GLOBAL ----------> MIDI CLK and set it to EXTERNAL. Just a guess, not sure whether it'll help or not. -

Getting a west coast synth sound?
To be honest, I'm doing it for both. I want to do it for my love of it, but make a little money off it too. So if that means I have to make a few beats that I don't wanna make then ok, but my goal is to start a very small, independent label and grow. Kinda like Jay Z did, I guess. -
