when you hit the "mode" key then [MIXER] pad youll see thses numbers which specifiy a pad 1-16. At the top of each one they must be set to 'ST' for stereo. If they are set to 'ST' on your 1k I dont know what the problem is then. Im at work so I hope my directions are accurate, just check your... -

mpc1000 to external Mixer
I just got an external mixer for my 1k. I have four cords going from the 4 mix out on the back of the 1k to the mixer. The Problem that im having is the the mixer still isint controlling the volume of each track. Is there something I have to set on the 1k or mixer? Thanks illmuzk "The OZ" -

The mpc1k is defintly worth it and since you got a lot of .wav files on your PC you can easily transfer them over to the mpc1k and assign them to pads. The only thing you will need is a usb chord to connect from your pc to the mpc, to transfer the wav files over. I know what your going thru... -

It all depends which MPC you get, either the 60, 1000, 2000, 3000, or 4000. I have a 1000 which is geared to use with the PC. You hit the pads with your fingers and each pad has a sound/sample assigned to them either a drum, piano, loop, etc... As far as loading and tracking a beat its best...
