M-audio is taking over(new DAW interface)
its basically the m-audio version of the control 8 surface ! i've got pretty much all m-audio stuff and everything i've ever had from them had been really good ! im still saving up for sum more stuff from them -

yea i use cool edit/adobe audition , well i did i got pro tools now and the audio editing on that is so fuckin quick to use its crazy, timestretching etc is so easy to do ! -

Why I love my MPC ...
LOL i've got a MPC 1000 and i can't get on with it i just haven't found a good way of using it to benefit me yet but i got a load more stuff arriving any day now so hopefully when thats alll up and running it will fit in place !? anyone with an MPC1K how do you use yours in your setup ? -
Upgrading Computer processor
i was recently considering the mbox and mbox 2 as an addition to system mainly so i could run pro tools my uni stuff runs thru mboxes aswell as digi 002s and control 24s etc but the seperate workstations are mboxes which are kewl but i'd look at the m-audio soundcards and the mpowered pro tools... -
I just moved to London
im at newport uni its mainly an arts uni etc i'm doing creative sound and music which basically helps me become and a better producer and a decent pro tools engineer while im at it !- MarkN

Im in the same boat as you at the mo AF i just moved into my own place to go to uni, started my course about 2 weeks ago now and its been all good so far especially the partying ! i've not been on much either due to not having my own PC at the mo but that should be sorted in the next few days...- MarkN

yea i don't expect to become good with it overnight but i've had it for months and months now and still havent found a reason too use it yet, its always been easier for me to use my software stuff ! like for example editing samples on an MPC is a pig whereas i use cool edit when i use software... -
