Pro Tools Digi 001 w/ Mac OS X?
yea i've not tried this but theres a few things that they say won't work but infact it seems they do like you can have multiple soundcards, when they say you can only use one with pro tools ! -

k, i take it you have pretty much 0% experience i mean if you've got reason 3 and adobe audition ( i use both these programs ) then thats a good start, if you can then invest in a little midi controller, it will be a lot easier to play stuff into reason tho its not a neccessity ! basically if... -

lol kewl, i guessed you wired the audio out from the mpc aswell i just wanted to check as you didnt put it above, i woz missing a lead from my mpc's midi in to the pc's midi out thats y mine woznt working properly ! should be fun now ! props on the setup advice ! -

yea headphones are a nightmare to work on, i will use headphones as a reference i also use my monitors my car stereo system and my regular boombox and if it soundstight on all those then it probably is, try to get hold of sumthing that will allow to play your beat on a different set of speakers... -

Connecting MPC to Reason & Cubase and Rewire Reason to Cubase
how do you find it works with latency etc, ive got the same setup as you petty much except ill be using pro tools rather than cubase ! ive got most of my setting up done now but i wondered how do you record audio from your MPC into cubase as you don't have an audio output from your MPC going... -

hmmm im guna have a look at the tutorial videos now i suppose in a way you could almost use your mpc if you had it but have the display on your pc monitor as opposed to sumthing in bright green thats the size of a matchbox so that would be an advantage, the drum machine part doesnt seem much... -

well for a starters you've got to be realistic with what you can acheive this depends on wot your using and your skill level ! id imagine you probably have a pretty basic knowledge of mixing in which case id give it a rough mix as soon as you finish, tbh i do a rough mix as i go it should be... -

im not worried about sampling ive got my MPC for that so im not guna use anything else and tbh ive got ten million dope drum sounds i need instrument sounds mostly ! -

nah its gotta be a hardware rack for no reason i just have a big hate for soft synths ! the 64 polyphony isnt a problem i will never need more than that ! -
