Happend to me recently...I made a beat where I was just playing. and I was going to save my beat, and I wasn't thinking, I thought I was exporting it as a mp3 so I just clicked on the most recent file, and choose to overwrite. So now I only have a .mp3 of that other beat.- Vince

Maybe you guys are one of thoose who listen to 10secs into the record when listening after samples. Check around 2:30 and you'll hear the piano. -

He probably added other instrumentation on top. But the piano is from Supertramp - Crime of the centuary. I belive the Breath vocal sample(actually Be) was re-sung. -

Is there something better then Recycle for chopping?
I use Acid for chooping, and Soundforge if I have to edit the sounds in any way. It goes very fast in Acid to chop alot of sounds at the same time...just chop em up with the eraser to different parts and choose 'Select to chopper...'. Edit start- and end-points if you have to and choose 'Save... -

How long does it take you to finish a beat
Well, I mostly sit down with nothing and after a while I'd have something that could be called a beat. But as Alchemist says, the beat ain't finished until you have someone rapping over it. So I have no beats that I call "finished". -
Sampling Producers.
I hate to loop. But I mean, some of my favorites loop alot. But as long as the loop hasn't been used before, and it's very cool I got no problem with it. As long as it doesn't sound "lazy" ie. a pitched soulsample looped 32 times for one song. I usually look for sound, or a specific "vibe"... -
