i think it would have been sick to take the main elements of reggaeton and then ripped the shit up out of them with your own style...then be like..."well, it's my verson of reggaeton" and then walked away with your $200...sort of in defiance of the genre...thats what ive done with a couple "club" tracks. my partner asked me to try a couple and they ended up being dark as hell really grimy...he liked them so you never know.

Well, I'm Puerto Rican myself and reggeaton is nothing but reggae with a latin twist. If you listen to reggae then you'll enjoy reggaeton. I was brought up on the old school hiphop so the repetition of reggaeton drives me crazy sometimes. I would of done the beat and a few more tho.

Why not try to improve the music instead of bashing on it. The only reason it hasn't evolved is because not enough producers out there bangin their own flavor of reggaeton.

You should of did it and see if it turned out any different. But its your music and you can produce whom ever you like.

There are some good reggaeton mc's out there....like Tego Calderon, Vico C, Daddy Yankee, and Don Omar. These are the top dogs, but there are a whole lot more...which equals to a whole lot of money. These katz put out an album every month or so...thats a whole lot of reggaeton beats...(ching ching).

I listen to reggea but I just cant fuck with reggeaton I didnt even know it was reggea with a latin twist I always thought they were tryna rap. Its somethin about the drums on those songs that makes me not wanna listen I cant call it. Im not knockin it or nothin if thats the music you make then heeeeeey (jeezy style)
