wow how useful the amount of times ive wanted to play a set whilst totally submerged in coke is enormous, and now theres nothing stopping me ! -
Intelligence and making beats...
as has already been said they are totally different things but, his other point about intelligence definately stacks up, especially musical knowledge i've taught experienced musicians to DJ to a good standard in like 2 hours, try teaching that to some who doesn't play an instrument !- MarkN

get the beta versions of the SMs and you've got some really good mics, 57s are better in general for instruments and 58s for vocals etc ! there is a pretty big difference between then regular SMs and the beta versions its definately worth the extra money ! -

i've got that book, its not the best book in the world but at the same time its a lot easier to learn than some of the other books i've used ! it won't be anygood just on its own, but with knowledge of theory and a lot of practice it works !- MarkN

I was looking through my reason strings re-fill tonight, and i came across the exact sample timbaland used for the solange 'get together' track ! if you have the reason strings refill its the official propellerheads on then its in the 'orchestral strings rex' folder and the name of the rex file... -
