compared to an mv or mpc, stuff can seem half-baked. but it's not, you just can't compare a stand-alone device such as a hardware sampler to a computer software, especially not audio software, where there's many interface compatabilities to maintain. issues is the price for the flexibility. but... -

since vst support, mixing in maschine is really an option. but you should try the routing thing. i ususally start off with making a beat in maschine stand-alone. when there's only few vsts involved, it stays there, when it gets vst-heavy, i open the session in cubase and route groups/sounds to... -

if you want to export the whole track as arranged in maschine, you have to go with output master and loop range region. but you could also load the maschine session in pt and route your groups/sounds to mixer channels... -

wouldn't take it on stage, but i've been using it for a month now and there wasn't more than the occasional crash on vst overload. in a daw it's still a bit buggy, but stand-alone is quite stable. -

man, fuck equipment wars. i'd make fat beats with ms paint. however biatches, public beta is out. vsts in maschine and pad link groups for layering. also there's an option for creating new patterns on scene duplicate now, which made loop progressions a whole lot easier... more info here... -

VST plug-ins for Mac
So I got myself a Macbook after 15 years of being a windows user. now I need some VST plug-ins, cause I need to use them in both Maschine and in Cubase. Something comparable to PSP vintage warmer would be nice. a nice eq and a good compressor would be good too. oh and almost forgot: i'm cheap... -

definitely accelarates stuff. plus it was always a pain to "program" grooves. now it takes me minutes to come up with a decent drum loop (now aiming at seconds^^) btw: i too liked the original quote better -

this helped me a lot lately. takes you about half an hour to learn and will improve your drum game substantially. works on pads as well
