hah, i know of a rapper called joe rilla and i mixed that up, sorry. did you set up audio jack as audio out in the system's sound preferences? itunes should then show up in jack once you start jack pilot. -

yep. best way to do this is in step editor mode, where you press and hold a pad and then move around the underlying event by turning the swing knob. @joe: when you open the routing window, you have maschine both in the send and the receive ports. expand the port list in the receive ports... -

There's no input gain and audio characteristics of your samples will depend on what soundcard you use. it would def be nice. i feel what you're saying with the prelistening function, but dude that was really an mpc problem, because loading samples took so fucking long. on maschine i have a snare... -

frankly, i don't think it's really worth the effort. 10 years ago, this would have been dope, but now everybody has soundclouds and bandcamps. plus, if you're beats are really hot, they'll find their way to a record. but maybe it'll work, just my 2 cents -

4 gigs of ram is totally fine. but usb asio on win7, you might get some spikes there. plus, how low can latency be with usb audio on win os? 8 ms? 12? if you already use the mpd for controlling audio, I'd give maschine a try. install the demo and take your notebook to the store. realtime audio... -
