    The difference is that tou can "play" your samples. You can work your music with your ears and not with your eyes. I guess it's more musical to use your ears... I think that if your a bit serious about your music you need one. I suggest to you the korg mikrokontrol. You got pats and fader...

    I don't really know 'cause I don't use the shuffle feature... It would be great tho. I use it more to get th "feel" of a loop on others sequence.

    one thing you have to know too is that you can quantize anyway you want. Exemple; you can quantize to your really swingin' rex drum just select the part that is your "swingin' paturn" and click on "get user groove" in your "edit" menu. Than apply this user groove by selecting it in thequantize...

    continue to keep us informed about it! I'm thinking about going to MusiTechnic or Trebas. Two things hold me back, the money and the fact that I don't want "learn" what I already know... I should learn much in the sound recording and in the synthesis class tho. These class are in french right?
