    I'm curious, you'll still use logic AND fl AND live in your live setup? I'm an live user myself but except reason sometimes, I use it as a stand alone. With all the new midi feature I don't really see the point of using logic at the same time.

    I guess for mashup Acid and Live are both cool. They will match the acapella to the beat or vice versa but it ain't magic. You have to "tell" the program were are the beats and things like that before. Some mash dj prefer the hands on approche of the plates... Which one you choose depends on how...

    It's really different than is previous album. It's really a modern jazz album. (and I mean really jazz not a hiphop wanna be jazz album). The strenght of the album are performance of the musicians. El-p constribution seems a little limited.

    I wish I could use my computer only for music... You could check to buy cubase SL, if you don't wanna pay much. Ia heard it does well. You won't have advenced scoring interface but who cares really? I don't think upgrading would work because you need a valid serial number for that...

    it was crashing for no reason, in the meddle of nothing. Sometimes it crashed when adding particular effects.

    depending on the crack, it makes a difference. Back in the days, I made all my music with cubase 4.06 or something. Cracked of course. It was crashing a lot. When I bought version 5, it didn't crashed anymore. So from now on I always to buy my softwares.

    About the firewire 410 vs the ozone? Do you need many in/out? If you don't got with the ozone. Do you need the pre-amp in the firewire 410? if you don't get the audiophile firewire. Do you really need the firewire? If you don't, maybee a used usn audiophile would do the trick... My point is...

    yo 1. start cubase before reason. 2 start reason 3like copenhagen said, the rewire lead at the top of your reason rack should be lighten up. 3. In cubase, get the reason window. 4. active the rewire channels tou need 5. stop pulling your hear.
