hmm it depends wot your gonna use it for tbh ! ? if its for a demo to send off to companies for them to use with their artist then fuck the artwork, make sure all your details are on it, and make sure you don't put too many tracks on maybe 8-10 at the most and make sure they are your best... -

Thanks for the replies, seems like it happens to most of us ! well im back up and running now it seems well my pc is anyway, i havent installed my music stuff yet so i won't be entering battle that ! but best believe im gonna get come out much improved pretty soon ! -

yea another way i do it is too, play the bassline like 3 octaves higher so you can hear wot your playing much clearer over your sample then once u've recorded it just drop it down a few octaves and you got a dope bassline ! -

yea get the sample to your chosen pitch first and then play your bassline ! and as for just filtering the sound you can do it but its more work imo and doesnt sound as good as a proper bassline most of the time ! -

lol, yea i agree with you cold although i produce like 99% sampled beats, which most people seem to think you can knock out like 5 a day ! i tend to make more like 5-10 a month because i spend time not so much on adding stuff maybe sum small things but more getting wot i already have as good as...- MarkN
