I do stupid shit like take the tempo (whatever it may be) and divide it into 4 (because of the 4 count) ...then I might divide THOSE numbers into 4...these are the numbers I set to velocities, attacks, sample starts, etc....most of the times it gives me the sense of some type of mathmatical... -
