Your actually doing it right having to record out track by track. The only alternative would be to set up the your 1000 to have a single track coming out of each of the 6 outputs, but you would also need a sound card with atleast 6 inputs. Then you could record six tracks at once into your... -

Richard Pryor died
Richard Pryor was way ahead of his time. He had a variety show like the Chappelle show back in the 70's and Ameirca wasnt ready for it at the time. My pops got all the shows and shit was hilarious.- Ozmosis

I like Premo but in my opinion I think NaS should have some tracks with Pete Rock and The Alchemist as well. That would make a hot NaS album Premo, Pete Rock and The Alchemist. Expensive as hell sample wise tryin to get them cleared, but hot.- Ozmosis

mpc 1000 question.
Practice with a one bar loop, and follow the metronome with a tempo somewhere in the 90's. Thats good practice to help get your drums to hit on time -

Software Sampler Vs. Hardware Sampler
I say keep all your hardware plus get the software, that way you can stay flexible. As soon as you get rid of your ASR-10 you'll get an idea for a track that would sound better on the ASR and you sold it. That just my opinion, if your 100% sure you will never want to use it again, then go... -

All you do is goto 'File' - Export - .wav and follow the directions. If you have pattern selected it will export the pattern. When you have song selected the entire song is exported. I dont know what version of FL Studio you have, but click on a channel ex-kick drum and then hit Cntl-L. Do... -

I dont see how your tracks arn't compatible with pro tools. Once your finished with your song with FL studio, do you export each track as a .wav file? Once you do that you can take and use those .wav files/tracks in any multitrack software on the market including pro tools. -

Pads on the mpc 1000
Yeah, i've been having that trouble with pad 4 on my 1k. I dont even assign anything to it now. The pad plays when I do a step record/edit, but actually hitting the pad it works when it wants to like it has a mind of its own. -
