thanks fellas, appreciate the input. i definitely need hobbies besides music. as i already go to the gym, i might consider buying an xbox now^^. no for real, why not. and classic, that thing about goals was a good tip too. i never work on projects, just on tracks.- mono

since I'm at this job with working times from 10 to 7 i barely can motivate myself to make music in the evenings. all i do is kick back and watch movies. also i'm working with the computer all day long, so even thinking about turning it on gives me the creeps on my way home. i'm already getting...- mono

you have to change the mode in the source module (the one with tune knob and tracking button) from Sample or Dfd (or whatever is active) to Tone Machine. then it comes up with separate controls for pitch and speed. -

from my experience at ni I can tell you, programming the back end as well as building the gui is a shitload of work and theres many people involved in a project like kontakt or traktor. and there's lots of semi-professional to even professional studios and producers using pirated software.- mono

theres a thing called voice group in the setup tab of battery. highlight the cells (or banks) you want to cut of each other. assign one of the voice groups to them by selecting from the voice group drop down menu. next set the MaxVoices setting for the group to 1. -
