Keyboard? - Get It or 4get it ?
or get one of those half sized midi controllers.. and use vst's for your sounds.. most average priced synth/keyboards cant even match vst's these days unless your gonna spend alot. -
Hardware Time
the tapco's are great monitors, pretty kickn for the price.. the micro korg is average in my opinion.. and mpc, cant go wrong.. whats up with all everyone hatin on the blue ? better than the pinkish red on the 1k! -

Using MPC 1000 w/Cubase SX
go to the sync screen, and choose which midi in your MPC is sending timecode from, cubase will slave to the mpc in a snap. peace -

long samples shouldnt be seen as no creativity... music doesnt need to be technical, its all about the sound in the end IMO there are just some dope ass old tracks, that get looped up and sound great cuz the original track is fuggin dope, and if you have the dough to by the rights, power to ya... -

digital mixers
so im looking at gettin a budget digital mixer, i use nuendo 2, and am curious, if the inputs on my mixer will all be in the audio mixer in nuendo, and if i will be able to use VST effects live on the inputs to the mixer.. this would make the 8 outputs on my mpc like a thousand times... -
