Worst Experience In the lab???
this aint tnot the worst experiance ,but just the other night i was stoned on the mpc, saved a track to ZIP disk to a partition where i put final drafts.. well my drums were named the same as well as some vocal samples as another track, so it overwrote them samples and fucked up both tracks... -

Just bought an Akai S900
SCSI is way faster than floppies id never fuck with floppies again, so unreliable & slow if i had a sampler like the 900 or 950 i would just sample the sound i wanted to have 12bit reduction to, then resample it in whatever other software/hardware im usin.. -

so you need the samples all in the right key though right, like a C for every octave ? -

how does sampling across keys work on this, say i have 3 notes from a organ or something, does it pitch it differantly for keys or what ? i read something about it could make waveforms for sounds from user samples.. but i dont know what the limitations are with that ? -
