    that router does have wep. that's what you have to enable in order to secure your wireless connection. the manual should have a lot of info on how to go about it. if you type 192.168.1.1 in your browser it'll take you to your routers config page where you can make changes, but go here...

    i think it's an issue with your router. to be secured you have to enable wep and assign it a key, so only you can access your internet connection, that way for example, i can't go to your block and sniff out your connection with my laptop and use your internet for free. what kind of router do...
