    absolutely... i have one year left for my undergrad degree and then it's off to law school. i'm glad i'm headed in the right direction, because i know a lot of the people i grew up with that stayed to rep the hood didn't.

    on my 1k i have pads 1-4 with drums, 5-8 with snares, 9-12 with hats, 13-16 with crashes or some other sound, and wutever i'm sampling on the other banks...

    and wut's wrong with changing the color of your mp? i have a a 1k and i hate the blue with the red on the edges, so y can't i change it to all grey? like the original 2k is, or even black. to each his own...
