That sounds amazing - and yeah, Muggs best be back to his gritty Temples Of Boom style....or there'll be trouble, lol.

anyone use Flams in there drums?

I wasn't saying it wasn't hiphop, I was just saying its something that you don't find used in a lot of hiphop tracks, and as I said I've personally used flams on snares and ruffs on hi hat patterns from time to time, simply to change things up a little. Flams definately sound cool...

anyone use Flams in there drums?

I use flams occasionally. I have to agree they're not commonly used in hip hop. Basically a flam is when you have a quieter note [grace note] played just prior to the main hit. This is normally done on the snare - but if you listen to real good drummers they often incorporate flams and stuff...

My take on the UK hip hop (just got back )

Word...Jehst, Lewis Parker and all those Low Life Records types - their stuff is tight. I'm not saying you should only listen to the underground stuff, but there really is a lot of UK talent that is just beneath the surface, so to speak....Being exposed to Kano and Dizzee Rascal would make me...

    Yo how you doing...

Good to see some more people from the UK....in short, this site is the nuts. The beat in that video is nice bro.

Can't Stop Making Mellow Beats, Plz Help Me!!

Very true, but the style of the sample is always a starting point if your making a sample based beat - A lot of the time you can expand or move on from that but sometimes some samples are just so evil you couldn't make a mellow, up-beat track if you tried.

haloDim -> Officially releasing an album with Broken Complex

Just got the Halodim CD through my door, and I'm listening to it now... Seriously though, mad props are due - truly original production, the ethnic influences combined with synths and hiphop beats make for really interesting soundscapes, and Merc's rhymes are always on point and equally...

    Real life zombie game

I watched that when it was on tv about a month ago. The stuff he does is ridiculous, some is just sublimal messaging and subconisouly influencing people etc but some of the of the stuff he does is literally incredible.

I need your help... a big Favor..

I'm sure you could find it on filesharing networks like ******** and DC++. But I know we're not allowed to talk about that sort of stuff here, so I won't go into it too much. In fact I'd say I'm 90% sure it could be found using those or similar program.

    FL 5 question

Near the top right hand corner of the window in Friuty loops there is a piece of text that says 'snap', above which is a black box that says none on it. If you click on that there is drop down menu where you can select your placement of notes in the pino roll to be magnetic to the grid, to 1/2...

    Does Anyone Like Coldplay

Coldplay are okay, I like a lot of stuff of their old album. I prefer rock stuff more like Radiohead and Mogwai though...and of course you can't beat the older rock stuff like Jimi Hendrix. I really like Joy Division and Sonic Youth too - anyone else feeling their stuff [or heard of...

Yo! Hip Hop is in Da Middle East House…

Very interesting read Wings. It'd be really interesting if some of the underground artists that you were talking about gained some popularity and recognition for what they do outside the Middle East.

    Anyone else excited?

Haven't copped the Jus Allah album but I know what you mean about him bringing the best [or beast] out of Vinnie Paz - their flows and voices are really contrasting but sort of compliment eachother.

    Worlds new fastest rapper!!!!!

LOL - it was real fast, but it doesn't really 'count' since he didn't pronounce half the words, just the ends of sentences... It just sounded like some uk garage or drum'n'bass emceeing.
