Gradually changing the pitch of a sample
In FL, that depends if you want the beat to follow the pitch of the sample... as if you want the whole beat to slow down at the same time... and gradually. -

That's an hi-hat... See, there's a pedal that you can press with your feet to close the hi hat (both cymbals touching, tight) if you let go (not completely), the hihat will open... the cymbals will be touching... not tight... that's why you'll hear a sizzle... Tssssssssssssss -
