    The Motif rack has great sound but a lot of issues, save up a lil more and get the Motif ES rack instead [more sounds, plus the original's problems were fixed].

    It won't have MIDI. Keep in mind that it's a mixer, which means that everything will be recorded into the computer as a stereo audio file. I have the analog version - if I plugged the output of mine into my PC, it would do the same thing. Don't buy it thinking it'll record in 12 tracks at once...

    Yep. What I do? I listen to Dilla beats and I know that if that brother could work from a hospital bed and drop beats better than anyone else, I can handle school pressure. It works, believe me.
