Mic mod is nothing more than a filter... Does it work good?... Yes and no If you have a good mic you can get some really good results but if you have an sm58 don't expect it to sound like a nueman u87 it just isn't going to happen- Greg Savage

How do you guys feel about the whole 9/11 thing?
Just the whole concept of us being caught off guard... Without jumping far into stock investing records it was always funny to me how a few (only a few) companies started and dove right in construction... Bushes family even dove into it a few weeks before 9/11- Greg Savage

Stop thinking about steps just do what sounds good. That's the best route to take until you come up with a good processing system. You create a lot of good sounds this way. Sounds that you wouldn't have with a step by step process. Trust me I not saying toss the logic out Im just trying to...- Greg Savage

Ok for commercial sounds ie big sounding drums claps and what not... You are going to need a good source to sample from... you are also going to need to understand how to control your reverbs with eqs and gates. What you want to do is focus on Layering Tonal control verb control...- Greg Savage

50% Swing = 50%... I can hear 50% swing vs 60%,70%,65%,58% etc... I've never really used Cubases Swing. My experience has come from using the following Mpc 3000 Reason Dp Pro tools in all those 0% = no swing- Greg Savage
