    ... you're cd is going in the trash and/or mailed back to you unopened. It's a waste of a cd and a waste of postage. Get a discography up first. Get some addresses to reputable Indy lables... Like 7 Heads..etc. and mail packages to them.... not G-Unit, Aftermath, or Def Jam.

    MPC users

    ... MPC sounds seem crisper... fuller...etc. I've used FL and taken it into Cubase...and used MPC tracks and taken them into Cubase... I dunno...maybe it's an issue of hte sounds I was using while I used FL...but I think the sounds are slightly different, not enough to really make a difference...

    ... I don't have a MBox... BUT... I've heard that the MBox doesn't do Midi... so my suggestion is to get a USB midi interface or your screwed...

    Waves C1 Compressor is good... but I wouldn't put the whole track through anything more than an extremely mild bit of compression... Turn down the volume of the bass...etc...

    ... a beat is a beat... money is money... God created the lease so you can sell the same beat to as many artists as necessary. That is...online. Offline...hopefully you can find a studio that'll end up being your "home studio" so you'll be able to really work w/ different artists...etc... feel me?

    ... all you need is a mid keyboard and a good ear... it'll take some time, but it's possible, just find the right sounds... I don't really understand the question

    ^ cd players operate by normal 1/8" jacks... get a 1/8 --> 1/4" adapter from radioshack... everything else either run it into a soundcard into the MPC, or run it into a computer and then out to the MPC...

    lol...I've got the 1k and everytime I tried to sync them, it skipped...I think they operate on 2 clocks... at least Adobe Audition does... ah well... I've got Cubase now...
