QUALITY samples
I need GOOD sounds... *I always see topics about people needing drum sounds and stuff... I'm the exact opposite. I'm looking for good orchestral sounds, like horns and violens and stuff. I'm looking for samples I can make melodies with, I've noticed most sample discs available to buy lack good... -
backup vocals and dub trax
If you're using a program like cool edit, I like to reverb my voice, and sometimes slide it a little to give it a slight echo. (Not a HUGE echo, but slightly echoed.) -

Thanks Fade. It's wierd though, because it isn't 2 seperate cd ports, the ports say "Phono 1/CD 1" meaning it's for both. I tried looking for a picture of it to show you guys but I had no luck. It's brand new though... if anyone's interested I'd be willing to sell it for like $20, and I'll pay... -

Harmonizing Samples?
Guys, I've found that most problems end up having the simplest solution... if you load your sample onto an Midi keyboard or whatever you use, you can simply just press a lower note on the keyboard to make the sample longer or shorter. (Or actually I should say, slower or faster.) This has never... -

Aight: I have a Geneva PF-470 mixer. On the top of it, its has 2 lines (but doesn't say line in or line out.) What are these for? I'm guessing turntables, but then there's 2 more jacks that say Phono 1/Cd1 and Phono 2/CD2 (which must be the turntables obviously.) Does the cd 1 and 2 mean I can... -

You figure: 13-17 tracks on an album, and you're charging a $100 a beat. (Not you, but this was your response to someone else who said they were.) 15 tracks would be $1,500 to the producer... I think some kids WOULD cry that they don't have that kind of money.- Knock Out

*The way I have it worked out with artists that I work with is simple. I make a certain amount off of each album sold. (I actually benefit way more from doing this.) We sell most cds we make for $7, and the last cd we pushed sold around 700 copies. I made a $2.50 off of every copy sold... you do...- Knock Out
