Aight: I have a Geneva PF-470 mixer. On the top of it, its has 2 lines (but doesn't say line in or line out.) What are these for? I'm guessing turntables, but then there's 2 more jacks that say Phono 1/Cd1 and Phono 2/CD2 (which must be the turntables obviously.) Does the cd 1 and 2 mean I can hook a cd player up to it?? Thanks ya'll, peace. *Oh yeah, there's one more jack that just says record... its not a mic port... what is this?

They sound like 1/4 inch inputs, never seen them not labeled on a mixer to be honest...you can hook....up a cd or other audio device to the rca inputs with cd1 and phono your choice....the lil record jack is likely a cueing line or sync input...not too sure about that just guessing

The mixer has cueing knobs so you're probably right, but honestly, I know nothing about spinnin records at all. I'm clueless as to what hooks up to this mixer besides turntables and a mic lol. I've been makin beats for a long ass time and I write too, now I wanna start scratching. Thanks again, keep the replies coming if anybody else knows what they're talking about. *Oh yeah, and is Geneva a good company, or a low quality shitty one?

The name doesn't sound familiar to me at all. It's a DJ mixer? The 2 lines must be for turntables, and the other ones that say CD1 and CD2 should be only for cd players. Be careful not to hook up your cd player to a different input because they have strong signals, you don't wanna screw anything up!

Thanks Fade. It's wierd though, because it isn't 2 seperate cd ports, the ports say "Phono 1/CD 1" meaning it's for both. I tried looking for a picture of it to show you guys but I had no luck. It's brand new though... if anyone's interested I'd be willing to sell it for like $20, and I'll pay shipping... email me: ZooYork125@optonline.net
