    what jg is saying is right you will be able to have the snare and kick perceivably louder (without clipping) when you layer a snare with less low end with a kick i.e kick -2db at 120hz snare -2db at 120hz together will clip (at 120hz) less snare at 120hz (like -9db) will not clip (at 120hz)...

    i used to have a k2000 and for then it was kick ass.... but the menu's are deep man can take along time to get to the parameter you want to edit.... maybe there are good computer editors out there now if so it would be good.... but the time involved to edit patches is too much of a feck around...
