    adk have anew preamp that is interesting. still aint many reviews out there but it seems promising interchangable parts i.e can change from valve to solid state, transformers to transformerless can't say yet if it is quality tho but seems like it might be the goods

    if you got cash i would go with the focusrite isa 428 (4 channel) or for cheap the fmr rnp is good. also the groove tubes brick is alright especially for the price

    Compression software???

    i think sonalksis is good.... but compression is the main area where software hasn't yet caught hardware in quality yet.... even a cheaper hardware compressor will give you better results.... for cheap i recommend the fmr rnc or the jbl/urei 7110

    gimmicks come gimmicks go....... does it qualify in ANY of the important areas 1. mic quality 2. preamp quality 3. a/d quality and there's no possibility of compression/limiting or eq on the way in but hey it's cheap !!
