While true there's some things to think about with that 1. They are using high end analog gear clipping for saturation. 2. Generally you are listening to the mp3 which generate intersample peaks, the lossless audio probably doesn't clip. 3. The mix sounds like crap and squashed lacking dynamics... -

i hear good things about these and would like a pair at some point Andrew Scheps would disagree I have the dt770 and for me they are great for Rock and live music as you say the higher details is amazing, but lack in bass movement too much for hip hop/rap which is why i want the M50x, i mix... -

the start has potential, i wasnt expecting that bass, so used to an 808 coming in for something like this, i dont know if its just because there isnt any vocals or not but it kind of feels like im anticipating it to go somewhere else and get "bigger" for a hook section but kind of stays flat... -

there is an idea here, im not a big fan of the drums and i think making a stronger baseline yourself would set it off, also the bass sort of sounds like theres some harmonics out of tune a bit -

The vibe is there, gets a bit repetative though, can definately hear a harp chord or string every now and then for some flavour, could just be me though i feel the same with some of premiers beats that lack melody -

by voice i mean the noise that comes in between 2-3 seconds it could work as fx but not so prominent cause it has tone -

for its the voice sound as its not in key as an effect it would need to be more in the background, like others have said better sounds and also layered sounds would help, things like the horns would be better even just doubling an octave down. -
