MV-8000 Sounds not loading???
Grafik, the mv has direct recording right? u can record it as audio... that way it records the audio and it will play as a seperate track in the MV. btw, finally gave up on fruity? -
Where are the MPC 500 users???
Yo, i got one.. and i make hiphop on it.. i'll post some up soon.. U barely use it? I chop me samples in recycle and put in the mpc with bluebox.. I'll just sit one evening chopping samples and then i'll have enough to build some beats the next couple of days.. then i'll just track em out... -
MPC 4000plus or MV-8800 ?
I suggest considering the 2500 too.. it's pretty neat with the HD and the USB and all.. Plus it got direct recordign too.. -

What was the motivation behind the choice of your name?
My name came from me having a lazy eye, since i was young.. used to wear an eye patch and all.. at younger age.. Right now I just adapted the name to do a good thing.. Midi timing is off..
I did a search in the ableton live forums, it's an ableton live problem, they can't get hardware and software to properly sync.. there's lots of discussion on the net bout this issue.. It did work in Cubase SX3 -

Yeah thanx guys, thing is a lot of my drums are sample and run through SF with Batch processing with nice compression en some EQ so i od have my own kicks.. and i do have original drums i just have to many.. so i need to find a way to make it logical.. i don't even want more drums, i have plenty... -

yeah but what do u do with the other drums you don't have in your favourite folders, u just never use em?? And on the MP, you don't have favourite folders and you can't preview samples.. so it's real usefull to have a good structure when you are sorting your drums -

does anyone use an mpc2000 to trigger sounds in ableton?
If you would want to do that, open a midi channel.. select the midi in on the channel, could be ESP midi.. select midi instead of drum on your mp and you should be up and running.. May i ask what you will be using ableton for? will you still be doing your drums on the mpc? -

Yeah i got both.. i make the baet on the MP, then export the waves and do all the mixing on software.. So i'm not hating on software, not at all.. I use Cubase SX3 and ableton live for mixing and effects.. -

Sure u can make good music, but with software, it's adjusting the daw to work with minimal latency... Likemusic: do u use any midi devices to control cubase and fl? or do u just click it in with a mouse.. -

I want to respond to this.. the latency is something that's so hard to get right.. it will always sound different and result in timing differences in comparison to something like an mpc.. I can say this, i first had an mpc, sold it, cus i thought i didn't need it.. and got an mpd.. then i... -
Midi timing is off..
My midi timing comes in too early in ableton live 6. I use an mpd24 to punch in my drums but the midi blocks show up to early in my sequencer.. This irritates the shit out of me.. Anyone got any suggestions on how to fix this? Thanx in advance! 1, lazy
