the sound you're thinking of isn't really being used out here right now so you'd be making sort of a retro sound but its a matter of getting a monophonic sawtooth synth and tweaking the different settings. the "west coast" sound banks are wack and straight out of '96...you're better off making...- Agent Smith

cosign with the chopping ease...slice to new midi is genious. just drag the audio clip into a clip section, right click, slice to new midi, pick the time signature and resolution, then chop. once you do this the sample will be laid out on a new drum rack. the drum rack is your best...- Agent Smith
