OMG guess what I saw tonight!

Haha thats funny man cuz I saw the same thing right outside my crib two days ago. I got more pissed when I realized that it was garbage day, so it was probably the garbagemen who stepped and cracked one of the many records that some fool was throwing away. I say this because about 3 years ago I...

The College Droput: your thoughts on Kanye's solo effort

Duece it sounds to me like Kanye went back and re-recorded the song and vocals, but he switched up some of the tracks (possibly because of sample issues). The vocals on the version i got fit the beat better, and that last verse by Jigga isn't there. Send me a note if u wanna hear it so u can decide.

The College Droput: your thoughts on Kanye's solo effort

Man the original advanced version of Never Let Me Down had so much soul...the version on the album sounds so canned. The album is tight overall. I just hope his success brings a change to the game.

    How illegal is this?

Just be sure to include "For Promotional Use Only" on the mixtape, so that if someone accuses you of making a profit you can plead ignorance.

My experience with so called hip hop girls (hella funny text)

Co-f'n-Sign Word that is some funny stuff right there. Indeed finding a female that listens to hip-hop for lyrics, flow, vocal tone, concept, etc, as well as the beat is like finding a four-leaf clover. An R&B chick is good enough, being that I love R&B and Soul also so that is the middle...

Are producers only as good as his records/sound sources: trials of a crate digger

Damn the hate on Jermaine Dupri lol. I think J.D. is a dope r&b songwriter and producer. Sometimes his beats are ok on the hiphop side but he's a businessman more than an artist so that explains that. Anthony Hamilton has a cd out on So So Def thats str8 fire!! But yea I agree its about the...

    "College Dropout"

I'm feeling alot of his joints. Freeway seemed out of place on "2 Words" but damn did Mos Def kill it. Personally mainstream hip-hop needs more joints like "Jesus Walks" in rotaion. The joint with Jigga and Saul Williams is a str8 banger!!! I'm anxious to see what the finished product is going...
