Just a Quick Word of Advice...

I was just wondering...what do ya'll mainly use Cool Edit/Adobe Audition for? What are its best features? I have a Fantom and I use an mpc2000xl for sampling, but I'm getting more into editing using my pc. Currently I use recycle to chop breaks, but I find that limiting when it comes to editing...

Its obvious that 50 is about his money. I mean honestly, he has some good joints but he's rapping to get paid and not trying to make an artistic advancement musically. So if a company is throwing more cheddar at him to advertise then why wouldn't he take it. The same with these other "artists."...

Ominous you are right about that cat Blind Fury, the gear was there but the style wasn't. Except for his rhymes though, my man was ill with his. I agree when Dame Dash said that Furys rhymes against Swann weren't completely focused on him, but still Fury shoulda got that round. Bleek looked like...

classic Music Business books?

I personally recommend "Confessions of a Record Producer" by Moses Avalon. Get the updated version if you decide to cop. Man I swear I didn't put that book down until I was finished. I don't know if it falls under the "classic" category but I found it pretty interesting.
