speaking about countries such as mexico this might be some sort of a valid point. but i do not believe armed citicens could overthrow a military regime with handguns. if they realy were willing to put there life at risk, they'd get the weapons they need. if you have money and a will, there is a market for everything.
castro and his companions did not overthrow the cuban government with guns they got from the supermarket.
but in modern western societies such as yours, mine, the american, there is no need for. weapons pose a bigger thread to us, than they do good. as relic tells, somebody shot every day in his city, thats crazy. i dont want my relatives or friends to be exposed to that risk.
there is only 2 parties benefiting from that. people who, for no reason, feel stronger with a weapon and the lobby that makes money from that fear, feeding them constantly with pro-weapon arguments...."freedom", imo thats just laughable.
