I rather not quote the samething twice but after you gave your list of names, which started with Jesus, the very next thing you said was
'' Which would bring some peace to the world. " Given the structure of communication, it's only natural that one should assume that Jesus would be included in that bunch because his name was in the list.

1st you stated that I only listed Jesus name and made no mention as to why. So I didn't say he'd bring peace.
C'mon man, you did say it. The comment I made was in reference to the statement below

what was I thinking? Read my post past the people who I wrote and you would know.
and after ready your post, I saw no references to Jesus based on what the scriptures say. The scriptures tell he that has ears to hear that Jesus is coming back and that it won't be to send peace on earth, but that earth will be distroyed. So no I saw no references to Jesus, but you did make plenty of statements.

Though I'm religious its seems that monotheistic religions are always the cats be the judgmental people, though I'm part of one. By judgmental I ment making a them vs. us complex, which is what you did.

To me, he would be like Shiva, God of Destruction in Hinduism who is not thought of as evil or bad, just part of the whole like Taoism. He would decimate the suckers who think the idea of love, peace, community, etc. is funny or corny.
You seem a bit confused. For one thing you can't just make up your own concept of God, mixing them up from different pieces of this and that and holding him to your own standards of fairness. Man is apart of the equation, not outside of it. I believe God is powerful enough to keep his words together for us to read, whether we interpret it right or wrong is on us. Read Rev 22:19
2 Peter 1
20. Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
21. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.
Exodus 20:3-5
3. Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
4. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.
5. Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;
Matt 4:10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.
Rev 3:16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
I going to say, that with God the father, father of Jesus Christ, you have to be sure with what you believe.
Matt 16:
13. When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?
14. And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets.
15. He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?
16. And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.
John 14
1. Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
2. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
3. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
4. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.
5. Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?
6. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
7. If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.
8. Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.
9. Jesus saith unto him, have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?
10. Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.
11. Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake.
12. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
Matt 10:
28. And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
29. Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father.
30. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.
31. Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.
32. Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.
33. But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.
34. Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
1Corinthians 8
5. For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth, (as there be gods many, and lords many,)
6. But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.
The point being that this is not a God that you can choose and add to one of your groups. It won't fly with him, you can't make up your own knowledge about him because it will prophet you nothing. I can't imagine dying not knowing what is it really that I believe in.
As for the question, what where they thinking? A better question would have been why where they thinking it. I have no problem with people having their belief, everybody has them, but I do say check the origin of your source, do go making your own stuff up.
2Peter 2
1. But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
2. And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.
There is a lot to learn
2 Timothy 2
15. Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
16. But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.
Matt 7
13. Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
14. Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
I hope you don't really think I was trying to put people down. We live in a age where we cannot talk about beliefs without having some kind of offensive opposition. But hey, that's always been the age. But over all, doing that would make my deeds void.
