Chappelle hands down... In living color was a pioneer true, but they weren't nearly as funny as Chappelle show.

During my generation, In Living Color was DA SHIET! But you can't really compare both shows cuz they both have similarities. In Living Color always had hip hop acts performing after the show and so did Dave Chappelle. The characters in both shows are also similar too such as Anton Jackson and Tyrone Biggims. So I don't know.... I love both shows.... but if I had to choose, I would choose In Living Color to be the GOAT. In Living Color had Tupac on the show so I guess i'll stick to my choice hahaha.

just cuz they helped pave the way doesnt make it automatically better..thats like sayin Nas aint nicer than slick rick cuz rick came first and Krs aint better than sugar hill gang cuz they brought rap to the mainstream and paved the way for everyone today and LCD 50 inch screen aint better than a black and white 15 inch tv haaha..
I would take chapelle cuz the shyt he came up wit wuz hilarious and pretty much unheard of during a time where its pretty much impossible to do sumthin that hasnt been done..and he did it...and in living color had a hole cast of funny ppl chapelle had him and charlie murphy and donny sumthin as pretty much the main characters and they were as funny as if they had a hole cast

I'ma have to say Chapelle Show....even though I'm from the Living Color era. I will say that Damon Wayans had a show on Showtime last year called "The Underground" that if it would've gotten picked up for a couple more seasons would have been better than both. It was a modern day Living Color w/ nudity and curses. And most of the actors on that show have moved on to stand up comedy or other shows. don't know the names like that but I guarantee you've seen most of em.

but they had there faces and there names in the beginning of every show so its onot like there were unkown on stage they got credit and theres wuz maaaad heads..chapelle is one man and has 2 dudes in there occasionally chapelle dont even need a cast he can do it himself

I grew up on In Living Color, that show was unprecedented during that time with all the characters, think about it all the comedians on that show almost all of them made a career based off that show. It set the blueprint, Keenen Ivory Wayans had a formula that worked. Then you have Chapelle who was like the modern day Richard Pryor for our generation he raised the bar from the impersonations "I'm Rick James Bitch" "Yeaaah" to the skits the writing was raw, at the end of the day he was like fuck you I'm Rich "everyone was like where is Dave Chapelle" you gotta respect the fact he didn't let traditional standards control his decision he left on his own terms. As law #11 implies "Learn to keep people dependent on you"

I aint sayin that either one is better then the other. I wouldn't even pick. I'm sayin Chapelle show wouldnt be around if it wasnt for In Living Color. Not sayin anything is the best.

This is just like "Favorite emcee" lists. Same difference. It will always be bias when it comes to different age groups and such. It all boils down to opinion at the end of the day. But I would watch chapelle show over in living color. (but i would be record both on my DVR)

I like Living Color a tiny bit better...

They were hilarious without pushing the limits, like the Chappelle show.

However if Living Color came out nowadays, I'm sure it would push the limits just as much as Chappelle show...

Living color wouldn't dare use the "N" word..... And you didn't need cable to watch it...LOL....

Comedy Central needs that spin. They know they fuct up when they let Chapelle get away. So now they got David Allen doing the sh*t that Chapelle didn't want to do.


In Living Color = Jordan

Chapelle = Lebron
