I like the wire alot becasue it gives a realistic view of the game. None of that glorized guns blazin ish. To surive you gotta have brains. Most shows portray people in the hood as dumb gun totin fools with no stratagy.

haha thats funny as hell... how classic is like... "yeah the ending of sex and the city sucked" and is talking about big & aden... what's even funnier is how i know who they are... i watch the odd episode... we get all that HBO shit late... but channel 4 is dope... it justs buys everything HBO shows... so we got OZ (Dope), Sopranos (Doper), Six Feet Under (Average to Dope), and on Channel 5 we got Real Sex (Titties)...

Hell yeah the wire is the shit. The only thing I didnt like is that "D" D'Angelo got killed in the joint. He should heve got out and end up testifying against Avon & String, now that would have been some drama. But Im glad Cutty decided to get out the game and go straight.

I do agree wit holmz, Avon does seem to be actin a lil hot-headed right now. I mean you cant be a bitch in the game they're in; Avon's a gangsta. But Stringer did have that shyt smoothed out while Avon was away.? One of dem nigguhs gone have to die b4 itz all over wit.
String better get out as soon as possible, becasue when Avon finds out that D'Angelo was killed I think all hell is going to break loose. Its all a matter of time, because his mom is already going to talk to the lawyers. Bottom line what I think is going to happen. The Barksdale empire will fall due to internal problems between String and Avon. And String will have Avon and Omar looking for his ass. And Marlo will become the new King to Baltimore when its all over. Just my opinion

Whats funny is alot of stuff they say on the WIRE you have to live here to understand. When the wire first came out i was still living in florida but when i moved up here alot of shit made since. Like club music, and refernces to the towers, and East and westside.
That rivalruly between east and west really goes on and those cats hate each other. They film alot of the wire 5 minutes from my university.
There is alot of other sublte things that are said in the show that only people from here will understand. The attention to detail they put in that show is amazing.
