I juz started watching it, been working nights. Now that I don't work nights I've been able to catch a few episodes. I was actually sold from the trailer for this season. I caught it a few times when it first came on and thought it was hot shit. The Sapranos were getting old. This is the the best shit going right now!

Aint seen it, but im loving CSI!!!
Next week is the season finale, so that means theres going to be another season. They got rid of String, so they cant get rid of Avon. I hope HBO realizes thats what makes the wire good is the street game. I like the storyline about the middle men like McNulty, Daniels, Colvain, Kemma, etc.. as well as the storyline of the Higher ups like Mayor Royce. But what makes the wire good is AVon's crew, Omar, Prop Joe etc... The second season of the wire that revolved around the docks, it was ok but I was only watching the 2nd season to see what little storyline they had with Avon's Crew.
The best damn show on t.v. period!!
Aint it crazy how the writer of the show has been showing Avon as irrational and hot-headed since his release. And Stringer as the level headed business man of the Barksdale organization. But with this last episode there character traits kinda flipped the script. Sense was kinda made of Avon's actions and showed how he is true to the game and not just motivated by money. And Stringer's fatal flaws were exposed. And the scene on the rooftop was so "prelude to the end" like. Avon practically told Stringer " where you gon be tommorow, cuz i gotta kill you for your lies and bullshit but, realise this is business not personal." I don't think Stringer Bell was that stupid not to see the shit coming. For one, he brought a bodyguard with him to the meet with the architect and, two he already dropped a dime on Avon where a bouts to Colvin in the graveyard.
