Well if you put an Indie proJect out, a lot of a&R's and people at labels dont really look at this part of the Chart....further down that list lots of Indies Show up, this is the important part of the Soundscan numbers list.....sometimes they use this to find out if you are hot and are selling, then later those same numbers can assist in signing a deal or getting a distribution deal so, maybe you can post the bottom half of that list......it might predict the future artists you gonna see thats hot........http://www.soundscan.com/ I also have it linked off of my site, vipradio.

i am interested in seeing who does well.

i would like to see common sell- if he went plat that would signal the *potential* that the majors would be willing to put some muscle behind more of these projects. its good to see what the current landscape of the commercial scene is , because at any point that can change...

wouldnt it be dope if jedi mind tricks did what they do and went gold off of it? that would mean eatin verrrry nice for them.

Who cares? Yo if your planning on living off your music, sales is everything. Yo, sales are very important cuz when you get in the biz it's to make money, if you don't want to make sum them people should keep their beats for them in their basements. I use to think sales weren't important, but it's really important and even more as a producer. If you know you have a beat on a Fat Joe album, you'll wish he sells a lot so that in 6 months the royalty check is more than enuff.
