I still say that Young gunz track is tight. How can you not get into that infectious groove? I guess I used to think the same thing about certain songs. Example: I dislike that "Get Low" song. I mean I really dislike this track, but people love to party to that shit! And as much as I hated that tune, I could not help but get my groove on when this big booty chick grabbed my hand and dragged me on the floor. We might think certain songs are crap (and the a lot of them are) but everthing can't be all one way. We need shit to party to, as well! AND I KNOW WHAT YALL THINKING! "IT AINT ABOUT CLUBS AND IT AINT ABOUT BITCHES!" Well, I ask you this....Who is it about? Is it all about your boys and your doggs? So at a club or party you gonna dance with your dogg? (I'm fuckin with folks now!)
All I'm sayin' is we need all types of music for all types of situations.
HIP HOP is the only form of music that it's participants continuously beef over which style or form is greater. WE don't see Country or Jazz people sayin' "I ain't fuckin' with him cause he aint from _______!"
WE have to get it together or it aint gonna be no more Hip Hop! We don't have to like or embrace everything rap song we hear, but we should respect it! It 's all Hip Hop. It's OUR MUSIC! (Smile)

Yeah thats a good point JOEBURNEM, I hate to over analyze every song form a producer stand point, I try to just listen to music sometimes. Certain songs get to you in certain situations. Songs grow on you, as you listen a few times , but I can't seem to get though 16 bars without having to escape from it the youngunz joint. I think that breakdown comes way to soon and to often, But if the females like it ,then I love it.

That State Properyt first album was good sh...t

"get low" and "cant stop" r in two totaly sepertate classes. "Get low", even though some heads arent feelin it, is a very well produced song. The beat is griityy and banging. The song has a chorus, buildup, brigde, etc. "Cant stop is just a fucin corny ass Casio beat no chorus nobuildup no vocal or pitch changes no nothin. If i was a sixteen year old girl i might like it but anyone thats a fan of quality, well arranged productions cant be feelin this song. Im not dissing the roc team because i think jay, beans, mop and free hold it down wit the best of em......the rest of da ROC????????????????????

Whats the deal with Rocafella working with Victoria Beckham (she was a Spice Girl)? What does Dame really think he's getting out of this relationship? I dunno, Roc seems to be strengthening if anything with the new signins they're making (eg. ODB, MOP) but that song is crap.

*You can say "no effort into the beat," but when you're talking Just Blaze, I have the feeling that he made it how he wants it. (The song, "Can't Stop Won't Stop") I love the brake in it with the scratching... sometimes beats don't need to be mad complex to have people bumpin' and grindin' to em.

i dont like the beat myself...when the video comes on you have no choice but to listen to what they are saying because the drums dont hit at all or it could be my tv speakers just dont got it. i first herd this song on a mix tape and my first thoughts was this must be a mix tape song...you know how songs that get put on mix tapes are never that good or the best off the album. then i turn around and see a video...we all know how much videos cost and would anyof yall spend that much on this song to promote a cd.

JUST BLAZE PRODUCED THAT GARBAGE TRACK????? CANT BE RIGHT

Circle the choice that does not belong in the group.

1)WELCOME TO NEW YORK CITY - CAMRON

2)ALL MY LIFE - FREEWAY

3)SONG CRY _ JAY

4)CANT STOP - younginz

IF I look on the inside of that cd and see just blaze on the credits for that song i know the world is coming to an end.

I think we all need to sit back and realize that not all songs can be hard core and not all can be p diddy remixes.....theres room enough in hiphop for something a lil different, all i will take that young gunz song as is an experiment......when its played in the club everyone bops thier head so the experiment worked no matter how badly the beat is put together......believe it or not i think its good cause it gets the peoples attention. some of you look at it as wack because you actually produce but i mean everyone cant be the same!!!! the game wont change and it will get boring!
