I still say that Young gunz track is tight. How can you not get into that infectious groove? I guess I used to think the same thing about certain songs. Example: I dislike that "Get Low" song. I mean I really dislike this track, but people love to party to that shit! And as much as I hated that tune, I could not help but get my groove on when this big booty chick grabbed my hand and dragged me on the floor. We might think certain songs are crap (and the a lot of them are) but everthing can't be all one way. We need shit to party to, as well! AND I KNOW WHAT YALL THINKING! "IT AINT ABOUT CLUBS AND IT AINT ABOUT BITCHES!" Well, I ask you this....Who is it about? Is it all about your boys and your doggs? So at a club or party you gonna dance with your dogg? (I'm fuckin with folks now!)
All I'm sayin' is we need all types of music for all types of situations.
HIP HOP is the only form of music that it's participants continuously beef over which style or form is greater. WE don't see Country or Jazz people sayin' "I ain't fuckin' with him cause he aint from _______!"
WE have to get it together or it aint gonna be no more Hip Hop! We don't have to like or embrace everything rap song we hear, but we should respect it! It 's all Hip Hop. It's OUR MUSIC! (Smile)
