As for Jeet Kune Do, Bruce Lee's real purpose was not to create a style. He wanted to make people realise that, in a fight, you cant predict what's gonna happen, and, for that reason, a martial artist should work on predetermined move, styles, stance, etc... he should work on being efficient, so he can be able to defend himself (which is the true purpose of a martial artist)...
Yeah, Bruce Lee was fast (the fastest, that, would have to be checked), but a fight is not only about speed. It's also about power, stamina and hit endurance... is it SOOO obvious that Bruce is better than Tony in all those? I'd doubt. I know the 1 inch punch is sick because of the weight shifting it requires, but a muay thai knee requires the same thing... and a knee is way more powerful than a punch.
And muay thai fighters are used to recieve knees... so they have hit endurance... could bruce reciieve one muay thai knee. It's not soooo obvious, even if he's a legend and people adore him.
