one of my top would be bubba sparxxx deliverance. timbaland is a genius
God!
bubba? timbaland? blueprint? c'mon ya'll! you can't be serious...
i certainly understand that it's all down to personal preference etc', but yo - i just have to STRONGLY disagree with ya'll... none of these albums is even close to being good.
if, at least, you would have mentioned something decent, but give me a break - BUBBA SPARXXX (no comment  )? JIGGA (it's not that blueprint is terrible; it's just not as good as MANY other albums are
)? TIMBALAND (can't understand what everybody finds in his production :nanner: )?
there are so many good and talented producers out there - you can't simply name one artist. open yourself to new productions, new styles, new ideas and new sounds!
most of the names you have mentioned are rather commercial. hence, i can conclude that some of you haven't even listened to 1\5 of what hip-hop (and music in general) has to offer. there is SO MUCH good music out there; you just have to look for it!
sorry for the criticism; just my humble opinion...

i really got to disagree with you wings.... at least, for myself. i listen to co flow. i listen to everything def jux, really, i loved rawkus, i have heard the anticons and soles and heiro's and a lot of different ish..... i even give the southern dudes a listen (i have to at least know what im abuot to hate on/dislike!) from time to time.... i dont really care for 99% of it....
but still, that production style on blueprint suits me... i think sometimes people get so friggin caught up in being "underground" and obscure to find "talent" but truthfully a lot of this underground material is great material by talented people, but thats not my overall preferance.... bottom line, people like what they like..... i have a pretty well rounded taste in music and i personally loved all but two tracks on the blueprint... i personally loved that deliverance beat... thats good ol' ben (formerly of the roots and now with incubus) on the guitar there..... what is talent and what is good is all a subjective viewpoint, to be honest.... because canibal ox doesnt appeal to me the way, say, nas does. that sound is cool and ilike it, but i would take the blueprint's instrumentals over theirs any day (not every jay z album, but that one in particluar.)
so, im just saying, that just because people like something taht is commercial music, that doesnt mean that they are somehow limitd in their knowledge/understanding/exposure to other music....
respectfully disagreed,
Truth
