FL4 Question once more.

is there a way to chop up samples FL4?

Yeah, there is in flstudio4, but I wouldnt advice to do it, for melodies and stuff or complicated chopping.
I only use it for drums if there is some silence left in front of it.

But to the point, go to channel settings (of your sample) than hit CTRL + E and the wave editor window pops up.

Or you could go for the Fruity Slicer, Channels -> Add One, it chops the sample up automaticallly and place each individual chopped piece to trigger across the key board.

I love Fruityloops, I mean I can only imagine what the next release can do but if you have a good controller it makes a powerful production combo.....but I remember reading an interview about 3 years ago, Timbaland was using fruityloops for some projects back then.....but the producer edition and vst, soundfont, editing, slicing and being able to map all of your controls to the controller make it the best for the money to get an end product that is impressive.....

in fruity 3.56, they got a sample beat w/ aaliyah's try again, sounded hot.... you could do A LOT with that....
