Rich people have been abusing the shit out of middle class people. And they have abused us so much, that we have no choice but to fight back.
Well fucking said! I think more then anything this is what poses a threat to the Republican party, the simple fact that we really are fighting back an great numbers finally.
The shit was inevitable for at least a decade IMO we just never knew when it would finally occur.

GD Om, we might need you in Washington!

I got too many skeletons in my closet. If you took Palin, Obama and McCain's dirty secrets and multiply them times 10, you'd end up with me. I gotta stay in the streets, LOL.

The bail out was totally lame! I agree. But any tax over %30 is lame as well. I can believe how many people here are ok with this.

You are absolutely right. We are second next to China I think as far as high ass taxes. Income tax and Corporate tax. Shit is way off. But that is why America is so developed compared to other countries. We spend way tooo much money. So we have crazy high taxes. I think this crisis is going to make us pump the break for about 5 years.

We got enough dope shit. Might as well enjoy it.

The shit was inevitable for at least a decade IMO we just never knew when it would finally occur.

That's what greed does to you. Everyone wants to prosper so bad that they get blinded by what is coming.

Well i am glad we all agree.

The only wars we wage at iLLmuzik and Beat Wars... LOL.

But I did stumble upon this...

"Taxes are always a redistribution of money. Most of the taxes that are redistributed go back to those who pay it -- in roads and airports and hospitals and schools -- and taxes are necessary for the common good, and there's nothing wrong with examining what our tax structure is and who should be paying more, who should be paying less. And for us to say that makes you a socialist I think is an unfortunate characterization and is inaccurate," he said."

Colin Powell took 3 sentences to say what I was trying to say in 10 chapters of ranting. The way people are trying to compare Obama to Hitler is crazy and it just goes to show how nuts Republicans can be in their hare for Obama. He isn't even a Dem and his is voting for Obama because like I said, REPUBLICANS ARE GETTING TIRED OF REPUBLICANS.

Soaking the Rich
Illuminating editorial in today's Wall Street Journal:

Maybe our liberal friends are onto something. They keep saying the rich should pay more taxes, and it turns out the rich already are! That's one of the valuable lessons from the IRS's annual study of income tax data, just released for 2004.

Americans who earned more than $1 million in adjusted gross income paid $178 billion, or an average of $740,000 per filer, in income taxes in 2004. That's up about one-third from 2002, the year before the Bush tax cuts in marginal income-tax and dividend and capital gains rates. The wealthiest 1% of tax filers paid a remarkable 35% of all individual income-tax payments that year...

Here's a way to think of the distribution of current income-tax payments: Imagine a banquet attended by 100 random Americans. If the bill for the meal is distributed like the income tax, the richest person in the room is required to pay one-third of the tab -- or more than all 50 attendees with a below-average income. The three richest people are charged as much as the other 97. And the 30 or so lowest-income people in the room -- those with a family income of $30,000 or less -- pay nothing and eat for free....

Ok SHONSTEEZ I think that what is good for everyone is that you should give 750k in tax's to the government. Ya sucks for you but its for the greater good.

Point is business and capitalism is what makes this country great. The fact that you can be born in poverty and die a millionaire is amazing and CAN NOT change or this country will no longer be great that is why I am so against redistribution of wealth. The government already gets more than enough period. They need to learn how the hell to budget correctly. It is not my problem that THEY overspend. Tax's dont get lowered no matter what people say. So when some dumb ass raises them then they stay raised forever. Its a bad cycle that is destroying our country. And I will fight against it every time I can.

Dude ur preaching the choir.
Look, having higher taxes obviously isnt going to be good for anyone but this economy needs BALANCE. By continuing on the path that this economy is already on were just pushing that imbalance further and further toward the favor of one side.
I ask you how is that fair? Just because it is? I think not.
The miniscule amount of people that get that window of opportunity to become millionaires from poverty is a horrible rationale against giving everyone a chance in this nation.
If you think that the average American that has 2-3 jobs, that can barely pay rent and buy groceries, thats going bankrupt from medical bills and cant even think of affording health care which is a black hole in the first place - is ever going to be lucky enough to just hopefully stay afloat and not die of poor health then your crazy.
The majority of people in this situation out there have no where to go.

THEN WHY DO YOU THINK WE SHOULD RAISE TAX'S!!?!?! If they dont have enough money to begin with. Government spends irresponsibly raising taxs wont help that. But it does hurt people who DO need the money. Guess what the more money business make the high the wages they can pay people. Raising tax's has never and will never help the economy. BTW WE ARE NOT EVEN IN A RECESSION our GPD grew last quarter. So I would not get to worked up over the economy. Its not growing as much but it is still growing.

Man, Taxes is just one factor, but is certainly going to be the number 1 reason of argument amongst the republican side at least 99% of the time.

What about ending this war?
McCain has no intentions of ending it any time soon.
What about improving health care?
Obama repeatedly talks about improvements.
What about Womans Rights?
McCain, not surprisingly has taken the very right wingy christian standing of being Pro Life.
Another perfect example of Church and State not being separate at all.

Thats just naming a few.

Smells to me like someone is buying republican propaganda hook line and sinker..
Remember last election when everyone was gonna turn gay and get married and the moral fabric of the US was gonna be destroyed?
Well, ya boy won again, shit got worse gays are still getting married, it still doesnt effect me and Im tired of all things GOP. Obama will look out for all Americans, yes.. even the rich people..
Fuckin GROW UP FOLKS!

From an outsiders perspective, Id say that Mccain is just Bush's chosen boy.
It will be very much business as usual without the excuses if he won. Whereas once Obama wins it will be business as usual with loads of excuses why he isnt doing all the good stuff he promised.
Excuses like hard econimic times. He is being called the transitional president already.
And transition just means change into something.
After seeing Gary Hart on TV yesterday being interviewed(the same Gary Hart from the council on foreign relations that said the US gov could use 911 as a pretext to start the New World Order) I was able to glean a lot from it.
Obama is the sure fire winner, and he is very much an establishment man, regardless of the likeable exterior.
The fact of the matter is, the next few years are going to be fucked up either way.
Obama is simply the more charismatic option. He will smile at you sincerely while putting the knife into your back.
At least thats what my instincts are telling me right now. Whereas Mccain would stab you in the back and due to the republicans complacency should they win yet again, just do it without you caring if you see it coming.

I have to say that anyone that buys into the two party, left right paradigm of politics is seriously misguided, for its the same people that pay members of all the parties to get favourable treatment in crucial decisions that affect their business. Whether its Conservative or Liberal nothing changes, our hard earned rights wittle away, goverment increases in size, taxes go up. In my lifetime its all I have ever known, regardless of who is in power.
National public sector utilities have been sold off to foreign investors. Housing waiting lists just keep getting bigger, violent crime is at an all time high. Where the fuck does our tax money go to.
To pay interest on loans our countries take out from our very own privately owned central banks.
While parading as bringers of economic prosperity(before the bubble burst anyway), its a facade created by the national debt. Now the facade is shattering and the ones that got us in the UK into the mess, namely the prime minister Gordon Brown, is parading as our saviour. It really does make me sick to see everyone fall for the con trick.
Politics=confidence trickery. IMO.

I would also like to add that Hitler was a great candidate before he was elected, he stood for all the right things and was charismatic and a great orator. Im not comparing Obama to Hitler, Im just saying appearances aint always what they appear to be.

McCain sucks. For real. I don't need no propaganda to tell me that. Dreampolice you are in Indiana, which is one of the most segragated states in the country. If not the most. Indiana also had the highest known concentration of KKK memebrs of any state. Including places like Alabama and shit. If anyone is victim to any type of propaganda its you.

Palin is an irresponsible and uniformed choice. That woman is a disgrace to American politics, just like GW is. Im sick of everybody giving her the benefit of the doubt cuz she is a "hottie vp". Please this shit is world politics, serious business, not the E! channel. And Im sick of her talking about terrorists and shit. Its pathetic that there only arguments for being president are because "that one" looks and talk different than all these other Washington homos. Palin has probably never even been to a "HOOD" in her life. Its easy to stand on high horse and point fingers and call names , its hard to get in the trenches and grind with the common folk.

Palin windfall profits = Socialism
McCain supporting bailout = Socialism
McCain flip flop on government oversight of banks = Socialsm

Whats the difference?

People are just too neive to admit that the reason they don't want Obama in office is because he is black. So they come up with evry other excuse not to put him there. Prove me wrong. Oh btw if you think nobodys taxes are gonna go up under McCAin, ur a god damn fool. Didnt u learn from the first BUSH? "READ MY LIPS NO NEW TAXES!" ... I can't stand this clown circus of a country we have become.

The craziest thing about this whole ideal is how tough it is to beat the conservatives. Their fear mongering and exclusion seems to work really well. I find it ridiculous that Bush won the first OR the second time. He is a clown. I dont want someone running the country that I feel I am smarter than. Palin falls under that catergory, This ho took six years to finish college, and now she is governor running for vp. unbeliavable. If u got dummies in office, no wonder why our education system sucks, and the rest of the world is literally running circles around us. But people dont care baout that shit. People always fail to see the big picture and are more worried about who's a muslim, and some other dumb shit. Ridiculous.

I watch a lot of FOX just because I can't get enough of how biased they are. It's funny because they have a "Fair and Balanced" logo on the corner of their screen. WHAT?

How many times do you see Hannity or O'Reilly cut Democrats off in mid-sentence to stop them from making a valid point?

I guess the funniest thing to me is how the Conservative Media is so hypocritical. Every attack used against Obama can be used against Palin. And the fact that they don't push their ideas instead of just attacking Obama shows how weak they are to me. All they have right now is "Ayers and ACORN" and all they want to do is dwell on the question. When you give them an answer, they just dismiss it. And every Conservative supporter in all the forums I check sound like broken records.

LOOK... Obama keeps saying he wants to fix things and help the common American. But all Conservatives have to say back is "He's a Socialist". Okay.... well how do conservatives want to help fix this and help comon Americans? You never hear it. At least Obama wants to try and fix things. He said it in the last debate. The American people deserve focus on the issues and answers to the problems. But when you want to vote for Obama because you want a President who wants to fix things, you get accused of being brainwashed and drinking the kool-aid.

They say the funniest sh*t. They said Obama has run the most negative campaign in history. WHAT? Sure, he has spent the most money, but it is clear to me that Republicans have the the most negative. Even other Republicans are saying it. Karl Rove said it! Are you kidding me?! Republicans just ignored that. And then Powell says he endorses Obama because he thinks McCain really messed up by being too negative and choosing Palin and the Republicans say Powell's endorsement doesn't matter and he just did it because he was Black. WHAT? Imagine what they would say if he endorsed McCain. OMG, they would have jumped all over that sh*t. That would have been the biggest endorsement ever. But since he went for Obama, he's just mad and trying to get back at the Republicans.

It is hilarious to me.

Its crazy how dumb we are as a country. Chances are, the doctor that performed your surgery, the engineer that designed your car or medical equipment, or Television, the architect that desgined the new building down the street, were NOT American. We import everything, right down to the actual talented people. A country that brings everything in and has nothing come out is bound to fall. Its our education system. It stinks. We drive Nissans, Honda, and Ferrari's over here but if you go to China you wont see an asian driving a chevy. The reason, our shit just isnt that good number one, number two it shows our stupid trade policies that we have. And American shit that is good, is usually actually built elsewhere (like Apple) The first step towards correcting our contrys ignorance is too admit that we SUCK ASS right now (no homo) and need a change. We are literally getting killed right now. I work at a college, and the best students are NEVER American. EVER. Cutting taxes isnt going to make the American people smarter. Education and Energy are the two biggest fuckups we made that we have to correct. And we can't do shit about energy untill our education gets right. Cut taxes all u want, its just an illusion to make u seem like u have more money. Meanwhile the debt continues to go up, Value of the dollar goes down and ur just left with a tinybit MORE of worthless money, which u can throw in the stock market and play roulette with. ... Shit is a joke man.. and it will continue to be a joke unless somebody with some brains gets in office.
