From an outsiders perspective, Id say that Mccain is just Bush's chosen boy.
It will be very much business as usual without the excuses if he won. Whereas once Obama wins it will be business as usual with loads of excuses why he isnt doing all the good stuff he promised.
Excuses like hard econimic times. He is being called the transitional president already.
And transition just means change into something.
After seeing Gary Hart on TV yesterday being interviewed(the same Gary Hart from the council on foreign relations that said the US gov could use 911 as a pretext to start the New World Order) I was able to glean a lot from it.
Obama is the sure fire winner, and he is very much an establishment man, regardless of the likeable exterior.
The fact of the matter is, the next few years are going to be fucked up either way.
Obama is simply the more charismatic option. He will smile at you sincerely while putting the knife into your back.
At least thats what my instincts are telling me right now. Whereas Mccain would stab you in the back and due to the republicans complacency should they win yet again, just do it without you caring if you see it coming.
I have to say that anyone that buys into the two party, left right paradigm of politics is seriously misguided, for its the same people that pay members of all the parties to get favourable treatment in crucial decisions that affect their business. Whether its Conservative or Liberal nothing changes, our hard earned rights wittle away, goverment increases in size, taxes go up. In my lifetime its all I have ever known, regardless of who is in power.
National public sector utilities have been sold off to foreign investors. Housing waiting lists just keep getting bigger, violent crime is at an all time high. Where the fuck does our tax money go to.
To pay interest on loans our countries take out from our very own privately owned central banks.
While parading as bringers of economic prosperity(before the bubble burst anyway), its a facade created by the national debt. Now the facade is shattering and the ones that got us in the UK into the mess, namely the prime minister Gordon Brown, is parading as our saviour. It really does make me sick to see everyone fall for the con trick.
Politics=confidence trickery. IMO.
I would also like to add that Hitler was a great candidate before he was elected, he stood for all the right things and was charismatic and a great orator. Im not comparing Obama to Hitler, Im just saying appearances aint always what they appear to be.
