^^^^ yeah i think people are sleeping on that karma stuff .... i feel that once u really get into u can do some cool shit and make ur sounds play like real insruments, which is the biggest challenge for "keyboard beats" , to make them sound "alive". -

After my album is complete im thinking of consolidating my setup .. right now i got 3 keyboards plus a rack ....... thinking of selling all my boards and the rack and coppin the new korg m3 ... so ill have the korg and my mpc .. thats it ... saves me precious nyc space and makes my setup easier... -

yeah i know .. thats my dilema too .. i could sell the digi rack and get maybe 700 or so... then i would have to get logic .. which costs 1000, and a soundcard like a motu or rme for prolly another g. overall id be losin out about 1300. I DO have digital performer installed on my comp though... -

i hate the pro tools tools audio icons and the way they are setup .. the chopping funtion in pro tools is retarded the way the way do it .. in cubase u can cut up and mainpulate ur audio like crazy with ease .. in pro tools u can do the same stuff it just takes longer and is hidden under menus... -

maybe i just need to chuck pro tools lol.. honeslty i dont like it very much since the day i got it... it seems to be catered more to the engineer than the producer/sound designer .. now cubase .. thats such an easy program for making music.. i havent fuced with logic enough to really understand... -
