software doesnt sound like analog .. it just doesnt ... if u think so u got a set of amateur ears .. close? .. yes ... but at the same time its way off ... no vst sounds like a moog. period. Somebody prove me wrong if u think otherwise ... no plug sounds like actual tape saturation either... -

mpc dont skip or crash or fucup or slow down or get infected or nothing like taht .. it works the same way evry single time... the feeling i get from my 4k cant be replaced on a computer.. i used reason for a number of years and was very good on it (sold alot of beats and got alot of credits... -

imo the reason for an mpc has nothing to do with "sampling" ... there are far better software and hardware samplers out there ... its all about the sequencing, workflow, and feel.... like relic said .. u dont even have to be a sampler to use it. -

u clearly have an engineers point of view about hip hop i dont care how much u read ur hooks wont be good unless u put ur heart into it .. books on writing hooks? please dude... hooks arent even that complicated .. u could name the top 100 hooks in the history of music and none them use... -

i dunno about books man ..... i mean its all in ur head .. my hooks come from what "I" feel the song represents... im not sure how much help a book could be... .. i would laugh at a rapper if i saw him reading a "how to write a rap song" book lol ...
