^^ lol true .. but the beauty of digital recording is that u can keep doing it over until u get it right lol... u should see me play some of my key progressions .. i will sit there forever just rerecording it till it sounds good.. but another trick is only qunatize certain elements and leave... -

i always tell cats if u wanna natural swing just practice alot on ur mpc/keyboard with quantization OFF! ... it really makes a diffrence... people rely too much on the computer to place the instruments for them... its a crutch ... obviosuly if ur doing really fast programming or dirty south... -

stress, unfortunately that track didnt make it to the album .. the main reason being that i never got bukus accapella ... if buku can get his verse to me I can still put the togther the track, but its too late to get it on the album, plus were out of money for the mixing lol .. but i could mix...- Ash Holmz

lol .. real soon my dude .. wow im honored that u posted that ... ... basically we have 11 out of 15 mixes already done and completed. Our engineer goes at a pace of two or three tracks a week so we should have the album mixed in two weeks tops.. the mastering process is pretty quick should only...- Ash Holmz

EQ Automation: do a lot of you cats do it?
I dont automate on the way in .. i leave evrything dry .. it doesnt make sense with todays technology to do heavy twisting of knobs on the way in unless u REALLY know what ur doing. Which I dont lol but I automate the shit out of my mixes though. -
